Labour policies need to evolve as COVID-19 has dramatically changed workplaces: President Halimah

In her May Day message, Singapore President Halimah Yacob said labour policies will need to change to support workers as the workplace has been dramatically changed by COVID-19. However, she added that the pandemic has also presented opportunities for office-based workers. Madam Halimah, the former deputy secretary-general of the labour union, also paid tribute to workers for adapting and staying agile.
